The Study On The Experiential Landscape Design Of The Ancient Villages

As a traditional agricultural country,China has a large number of ancient villages,which are rare to be seen in the rest of the world.Known as "folk collections of national-treasures","Pearls of traditional culture",these ancient villages are precious human cultural heritage,where lies national history,cultural memory of human and where human originated.As urban modernization advances,China's ancient villages begin rejuvenating from declining with people increasing realization of the importance of ancient villages.Nevertheless,for those ancient villages under protection for utilization,they are not fully employed and thus can not be best experienced as tourist attractions due to unreasonable means of protection and hardly prominent visualization of landscape,as a result,tourists have no choice but to give a hurried glance at them.As the fourth batch of traditional Chinese village,Taiyuan Cheng Jiayu village enjoys essential historical and cultural value because of its unique floor-style village layout,stone cave and numerous non-material heritage inside.However,villagers there have removed out of the place on account of complex historical reasons in these villages,leaving the villages abandoned.Withstanding years of weathering,stone cave dwellings and the environment around the whole village have suffered different degrees of damage and even some buildings collapsed.The cultural relics of thees village will no longer exist if they are not timely protected.While with the continuous progress of the times,people re tend to run after higher-level things around rather than be satisfied with what they can see with their eyes,and they care more about personal psychological gains.Whether it is consumption or teaching,people are willing to participate in them firsthand as direct access to information is even more easily be engraved on mind by people.Experience-style landscape of ancient village can express the culture and history of the villages to people,besides,people are able to get different psychological experience in line with their own needs.It is going to attract and touch each people experiencing direct contact with nature and culture.Based on the present situation of landscape protection of ancient villages,this paper puts forward the transformation method of experience-style landscape design in view of landscape in Chengjiayu village.First of all,the relevant contents of ancient villages and experience-style landscapes are sorted out,and then the application mode of ancient villages landscape and problems existing are analyzed and summarized.Besides,the author illustrates classification,design elements and methods of experience-style landscape,laying a theoretical basis for a smooth study.Secondly,through a general survey of the overall situation of Chengjiayu village and its landscape resources,this paper puts forward a new concept of experience-style landscape design in ancient villages,combining with common problems existing in design and construction of ancient village landscape.And then the author probes into the feasibility of application of the experience-style landscape design in ancient buildings at Chengjiayu village.At the end of this paper,the author conducts an experience-style virtual design of re-use of stone cave dwellings and the village at large in line with actual condition of Chengcaiyu ancient villages.In addition,relevant parameters are studied to further demonstrate that it is possible to employ experiential design in the protection of ancient village landscape.
