As an important node of the traffic network,bridges play a key role in the transportation.So testing and strengthening the construction regularly during the process of bridge maintenance is needed.Only in this way,the bridge can be used safely and the hidden dangers can be found in time.The widely application of the finite element software on engineering practice has brought great convenience for the people.The test is based on two actual bridge detection items,which studies the application of simplified modeling method in bridge detection items.Comparing the static and dynamic parameters tested in the experiment and the finite element numerical analysis results,a scientific and objective evaluation of performance of the actual work of the bridge has been made:(1)Static test is based on a simply-supported bridge with a continuous deck.The vertical deflection values,the horizontal deflection values and the concrete strain values of the edge of mid-span cross section of the T beam on the most unfavorable automobile load and partial load is tested on the experiment;Dynamic test is based on a framework of simply supported bridge,the determination of frequency,cycle,damping and vibration mode is done on thetest.Environmental requirements,arrangement of measuring points,loading scheme are analyzed and studied.(2)In the finite element numerical analysis,two simplified modeling methods are studied.A simply-supported bridge model is built in the static test instead of a whole model.The difference of the result between the two models shows that the error of vertical deflection values is about 1.3%,the error of the horizontal deflection values is about 1.1% and the error of concrete strain values of the edge of mid-span cross section is about 1.1%.Continuous structure played a limited role in the test,so ideal theoretical values can be obtained from simplified model.(3)In the dynamic test,plain concrete beam is used to simplify the reinforced concrete beams.The transverse section area ratio is about 1.045.The ratio of the two method results is about 1.01.The data can be used to provide the basis for simplified modeling method.(4)Comparing the measured values with the corresponding static parameters and dynamic parameters calculated by ABAQUS,the assessing of the bridges can be done,which can be used to provide a reference for practical engineering in the future.
