With the rapid development of civil engineering in recent years and the importance of the quality of the project,the construction market demand for natural sand gradually increased,the quality requirements are gradually increased,and qualified natural sand resources are gradually reduced.In Tongliao area,natural sand is thin,can not be used as mortar aggregate,but Tongliao City is rich in mineral resources,initially proven 41 kinds of mineral deposits,more than 30 mine,lead and zinc mining capacity of 1.034 million tons per year,iron ore each year Mining capacity of 140,000 tons,nickel alloy with an annual output of 500,000 tons,chromium alloy with an annual output of 58,000 tons.In the mining at the same time,produce a large number of industrial waste-slag,not only will take up a lot of land,and a long time will cause soil pollution.In this context,the use of nickel-chromium slag machine sand as a raw material to study the mechanism of sand in the application of mortar applicability.In this paper,the apparent density,bulk density,fineness modulus,mud content,crushing value and stone powder content of the chrome sand slag were tested in the basic physical and chemical properties of the sand.The results show that the relevant physical indicators meet the requirements of the specification.Secondly,the chemical constituents of the sand and natural sand were tested by XRD.The main components of the sand were CaCO3,Mg?OH?2,Al?OH?3,The main components of natural sand were SiO2,CaCO3,K2SO4?as follows: The results show that the composition of sand and natural sand components of the larger gap.On the basis of the above research,the application of sand was studied.?1?the use of nickel-chromium slag machine sand instead of natural sand as M10,M5 mortar aggregate,the results show that the mechanism of mortar segregation,bleeding serious,can not shape.In order to solve this problem,the initial measures are to reduce the amount of water,this time the problem is the mortar consistency,delamination,strength are not meet the requirements.To this end,mixed with natural sand as mortar aggregate,natural sand content of 10%-90%,a gradient of 10%,studies have shown that,for M10 mortar,the amount of sand replacement is 0%-40%,for M5 mortar,When the amount of replacement sand is 0%-30%,the workability and strength meet the specification requirements.?2?In order to increase the utilization rate of sand,the effect of single fly ash and silica fume on the performance of mortar was studied.The results showed that the mixed fly ash could improve the fluidity of mortar.For M10 mortar,For 8%,10%,12%,for M5 mortar,fly ash content of 10%,12%,14%,mortar fluidity and strength to meet the requirements,the water retention can't meet requirement;single mixed with silica fume can improve the water retention of mortar,for M10 mortar,Silica fume content of 3%,5%,7%,for M5 mortar,silica fume content of 3%,5%,7%,mortar water retention and strength to meet the requirements,the fluidity can't meet requirement.?3?Based on the orthogonal experiment,the influence of the amount of sand replacement,the content of fly ash and the amount of silica fume on the properties of M10 and M5 mortar were studied.The results show that the M10 and M5 mortar are up to 80%,and the M10 mortar is mixed with cement: machine sand: natural sand: fly ash: silica fume: water = 255:1232:290:33:8:234 ?cement: machine sand: natural sand: fly ash: silica fume: water = 220:1232:290:31:7:226,mortar workability and strength are to meet the specifications.Through this study,nickel-chromium slag machine sand can be used in engineering practice.
