Intelligent Detection Of Illegal Vehicles Based On License Plate Recognition

In recent years,people’s living standards improve,more and more family cars,increasing the rate of private car travel,private cars have become the main means of transport for people to go out,so that the national holidays high-speed traffic jam.In such circumstances,some criminals lack of morality,despise the law,in order to avoid the traffic accident after the police investigation,and avoid the use of motor vehicle crime police investigation,robbery of motor vehicle license and imitation license fraud phenomenon intensified.The traditional method to identify the clone car,not only will greatly increase the police force and financial resources,and the efficiency is low.If it is more efficient and convenient to manage the vehicle license plate through the computer network,it will be an urgent problem for the public security system and the traffic system.This study is based on the traffic barrier,is overlooking high-definition images,the computer image processing technology and image recognition technology combined,various types of illegal vehicles involved in intelligent detection.The main work of this research is as follows:(1)The vehicle structure interval segmentation using linear edge feature of vehicle front window and color of the body area,and proposes an acquisition method for segmentation of vehicle structure interval models,the license plate number,body color and other vehicles based on basic information,realize the basic information acquisition of vehicle body.(2)on the basis of in-depth research and analysis of various edge detection and morphological processing,the Canny algorithm is used to extract the license plate edge.The algorithm can effectively extract the license plate area,reduce the incomplete extraction of the license plate area or extract too many useless information,thus improving the accuracy of the license plate region extraction.(3)Use the vertical projection area of license plate detection of illegal license plate,license plate detection,vehicle comprehensive legal information consistency checking and logic consistency detection strategy for deck vehicle detection.(4)the design and implementation of intelligent vehicle detection system based on license plate recognition is completed.The intelligent detection system consists of vehicle information acquisition unit,communication network and data processing and storage center of three parts,and according to the need to add some auxiliary functions such as image capture and video system for artificial.
