The Research On Evolution Of Historical Lanzhou City

As National Administrative Bureau of the State official data,China has get urbanization degree as high as 57.35% in 2016.China is going acceleration of urbanization.As a result,most historical and cultural cities in Gansu province are dealing with some problems,such as “protecting local history and culture,conserving continuation of regional context,protecting traditional architecture,showing regional characteristics,which is an important issue in development and construction of the historical and cultural city in Northwest China.For 40 years of reform and opening to world,development of Lanzhou city has get more progress,city has many changes in urban structure and local building style.As many historical cities,Lanzhou is undergoing urban renewal,city infrastructure construction,environmental transformation.In this process,because of ignoring the protection of historical and cultural city,being about the immediate interests,some efforts lead to some of serious damage of city context,urban structure and local building style.Facing disappearance of history city features,this study puts forward conception of protecting-whole-city-historical-space.As a case of Lanzhou historical city,it is to discuss the protection method based on historical information in Lanzhou city,combining protection and development of urban historical and cultural heritage.As this point,protection and development are no longer restrict with each other.However,it could get development of Lanzhou city in a certain degree.It is important that analysis and collection of historical information is a very strong and very complex content in protection of urban historical and cultural heritage.This study is from interpretation of historical documents and historical maps of Lanzhou city history,collection of relevant books and images,extraction its inherent historical information,which can be studied inherent logic of development of the city,and then considered the protection from space of city.Because city is changing,protection of historic city can not be used in old methods,but it should be considered development issues,which would be combined with protection and development.It is an important element of the historical information to protection of historical cities,but also the basic work for that.The historical city of Lanzhou was built in Ming Dynasty,and experienced the historical period of Qing Dynasty.Therefore,the protection of historical information on the history of city can solve some problems,such as similarity of building style It alsorespect for law of city development and protection of city culture.The Evolution of historical Lanzhou city is an important factor in Gansu Province of Inheritance and innovation of Chinese civilization.Therefore,it is also important for construction of the historical city,urban sustainable development of social economy,transformation of city,characteristics and style of local building.
