With the accelerating steps of human conquest of space and more spacecraft are launched into space and the available orbital space is decreasing,the number of space debris is increasing.The probability of space debris which are running around the in-orbit spacecraft.This article is based on the protection of spacecraft that could be hit by space debris.The protective structure of the spacecraft is designed to protect against the cumulative impact of the millimeter space debris.We did a series of super-fast collisions on the ground and numerical simulation of specific protective structures.We studied the different temperature conditions and the effect of different materials processing on the protective properties of the protective structures.Firstly,we study the cumulative impact on the structure of the spacecraft after cold and heat cycle processing.For Whipple protection structure and three-layer protection structure,the protection structure was hit at the same speed with t he specific diameter spherical aluminum projectile.We study the effect of the projectile and the front plate on the protective properties of the structure after the heat cycle.For a filler structure,We need to study the same diameter spherical aluminum projectile that is not through heat cycle has two collision protection structures.We also study the effect of the heat cycle and different filling materials on the structural protection performance.Secondly,we studied the protective structures were affected by the cumulative impact of space debris under different space temperature environments.The space temperature environment is mainly low temperature(193K),room temperature(293K)and high temperature(460K).In this paper,different temperature environments are selected for different protective structure.For Whipple protection structure and three-layer protection structure,the protection structure was hit at the same speed with the specific diameter spherical aluminum projectile under low temperature and high temperature environment.For a filler structure,We need to study the same diameter spherical aluminum projectile that is not through heat cycle has two collision protection structures under low temperature,room temperature and high temperatur e environment.We can get the effect of the extreme temperature environment on the protective properties of the structure.The last,this article uses AUTODYN for numerical simulation for cumulative impact damage characteristics of aluminum plate protection structure.we obtain the failure critical velocity of three cumulative impacts for specific aluminum plate Whipple protection.The numerical simulation of ball pellets with different diameters is carried out at different speeds for three-layer protection structure.We also analyze the cumulative damage and protective characteristics of the three-layer protection structure.
