| Curved girder bridge has a beautiful linear and good adaptability,so the curve beam bridge has been widely used in the highway and the urban road interchange ramp project. However, because of its bending and torsional coupling characteristics, the curved girder bridge is easily damaged in the earthquake. The damage of bridges in all previous earthquake indicated that the adjacent structures’ collision is the main cause of structural damage. The collision of curved girder bridge under the action of the earthquake occurred mainly joints and adjacent expansion in bridge expansion joints, which will cause severe cracking by local beam or abutment damage, even beam-falling damage. Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the mechanism of the collision at the expansion joints of the curved girder bridge, the influencing factors and its effect on the seismic performance of the whole bridge system. This paper summarizes the theoretical analysis, test and analysis of bridge collision, and discusses the seismic and collision response analysis methods. In order to study the collision effect at the joint of the curve bridge,a Kelvin collision model with contact element method is proposed.Based on the ANSYS platform, the three-dimensional finite element model of the curved bridge is established by selecting the appropriate unit type. The natural frequency and the vibration characteristics of the curved bridge are analyzed, the influence of different pier height and different bearing stiffness on the self-vibration characteristics of the structure is studied.Based on the dynamic time history analysis method, the maximum collision effect and the most unfavorable seismic input angle of the expansion joints of the curved bridge under the two-way earthquake are discussed. It is studied that the influence of the collision effect at the joints on the seismic response of the curved bridge. And compare the influence of bilateral collision and unilateral collision on the seismic response of bridge structure, and draw some useful conclusions to provide some reference for the design of seismic disaster reduction of curved bridge. The influence of initial gap of contact element, the ratio of adjacent period, the consolidation of pier and beam, the initial stiffness of movable support and the input mode of different ground motion on the collision response of curved beambridge are discussed.According to the research results of this paper and related scholars, the corresponding measures to reduce the collision effect of curved bridge are put forward. |
