Design Of Automobile Running Condition Monitoring System Based On Android System

When a vehicle running,its position information and the video information of vehiculary interior environment can't be timely obtained by traffic management department and enterprise dispatch center.This reduces the vehicle management efficiency and the ability to deal with emergencies.To solve these problems,a vehicle running condition monitoring system based on Android system is designed in this thesis.The system is consisted of a vehicle terminal based on Android system and a monitoring center.The information of vehicle GPS and video of vehiculary interior environment can be collected and sent by the vehicle terminal,and these information can be received,processed and displayed at monitoring center.The work of this thesis is as follows:(1)Some theories and technologies which are used in the vehicle running condition monitoring system are researched,including the technology of embedded system,Android system,GPS,GIS and wireless communication.(2)The overall structure of the vehicle running condition monitoring system is designed,and the functions of the vehicle terminal and the monitoring center are analyzed in detail.Based on functional requirements,the hardware modules which are used in the vehicle terminal and the monitoring center are chosen.(3)The software functions of the vehicle terminal and the monitoring center are analyzed and designed.At vehicle terminal,the Android system development platform is built and the software modules are developed based on Java language.Meanwhile,the software modules of the monitoring center are developed by using VB language.(4)Some experiments are conducted to test the performance of the vehicle running condition monitoring system.The results show that the developed system can achieve all the functions required,such as collecting and sending GPS and interior environment video at the vehicle terminal,and receiving,processing and displaying these vehiculary running information at monitoring center.This system meets the design requirements.
