With the development of science and technology and the variety of products,when people buy products,they pay more attention to the spiritual feeling that products can bring.In the process of product innovation design,how to accurately cut into the consumer's perceptual image demand has become a new design problem.The design methods only depending on the designers' abilities cannot solve the problem perfectly and comprehensively.Therefore,it is necessary to integrate the existing design methods and techniques and explore the interdisciplinary methods and techniques,then finding new integrated design methods and techniques facing different perceptual demands.Aiming at the image modeling design of products,the paper integrates various design methods and techniques to realize the innovative design of products image modeling.Firstly,evaluating vocabularies for electric cars styling and samples of existing electric cars are collected through Internet search,magazine access,reading literature and other means.The shape element category of the product is obtained by morphological analysis.On this basis,the samples are clustered to select typical samples.The perceptual vocabularies that accurately describe the appearance of electric cars are initially screened out by means of questionnaires.Then the triangular fuzzy analysis and factor analysis are used to extract the representative vocabulary,and the reliability and validity of the sample data and the research method are tested.Secondly,the contribution value of the modeling feature element category to the product perceptual image is obtained by Quantification Theory I and triangular fuzzy analysis.Then,the linear relation model of modeling feature elements and image adjectives is constructed by partial correlation analysis,which is used as the judgment basis for optimizing product modeling.Thirdly,the fitness function is established based on the linear relation model of modeling feature elements and image adjectives.The modeling feature elements are combined and optimized through the generic genetic algorithm.The optimized result ismodeled by Pro/E software,then using Keyshot software to render the model.Finally,the prototype system of mechanical and electrical product image innovation design is developed by MATLAB software and Microsoft Access database technology.And the design of electric car styling was verified.
