| Data show that by 2020,car ownership will increase from 700 million units to 1billion 400 million units,the truck to get sustainable development,we must constantly improve in energy conservation and environmental protection.The truck frame lightweight research to the enterprise itself,is of great significance to the users and the whole society.In this paper,the finite element method is used to study the lightweight of a truck frame:(1)The application of CAD model of a car truck of a host plant,import it into HYPERMESH to establish the finite element model,mainly to simplify the model and other treatments,including model scaling(10:1)model,geometric cleaning,meshing,quality control mesh,finite element model and the establishment of high quality.(2)Based on the finite element model,using HYPERMESH to the truck for static analysis,mainly for the typical working conditions of truck(bending condition,torsion condition),the frame in different conditions of stress and displacement plot,which was checked on the vehicle frame strength.(3)The HYPERMESH software is used to carry on the modal analysis of the frame,and the modal shape and frequency of the frame are obtained(4)Based on the original frame through size optimization method in OPTISTRUCT to optimize the design of the frame,and verify the optimized frame.Finally the optimized frame can make the weight reduction of 105 KG,realize the lightweight ratio of 11.66%,the optimized frame stress intensity and deformation increased,but still within a reasonable range of strength frame.The research work of this paper has important reference value for the design,improvement and optimization of the truck. |
