Along with the rapid development of express industry,express companies have increased demand for transport vehicles.Express regional transportation as a very important part of the express delivery,the demand for transport vehicle is large and the market prospects are open.Because of the increasingly serious environmental pollution and the transportation limit of traditional truck,express delivery electric car have a very good opportunity to cut into the market.The research and design of express delivery electric car needs to establish on the fact and basic data of the regional express delivery industry,to meet the demand of the line of actual transport.Paper put forward a method to express statistical survey and data processing and specifically investigated the distance between transfer station and operating point of xi 'an SF-express.The paper calculated average distance and rest time of regional transportation vehicles distinguished by different task types,and then collected large data about individual weight of express delivery,to determine the express delivery electric car driving range and single express average weight.At the same time,three models of regional transport related data including the vehicle models,speed,load and quantity were prepared to calculate their scope.Through the research on the data and combining with the express company vehicle selection standard,put forward the idea that the express delivery electric car should use container volume as evaluation index.Finally,according to the principle increasing truck container volume,The author put forward two kinds of general layout plan,electromotor front precursor and low baseplate small rear wheel design.
