After decades of development,China has made some progress in desert road construction,however,with the increasing number of desert highways,new problems are gradually emerging,so that the existing theories can not solve the new problems at times.Paper based on the investigation and collection of domestic and international data on the desert highway,relying on the Tonger highway,researching the aeolian sand which filled Tengger Desert subgrade compaction technology.The main contents are as follows:(1)The engineering division of aeolian sand along the support project is carried out by means of minute test;The vibration compaction characteristics of aeolian sand are studied by vibration test,and the dry compaction and wet compaction characteristics of aeolian sand are analyzed;The compaction effect of aeolian sand subgrade under different virtual thickness and different rolling modes is analyzed;Static compaction,weak vibration,strong vibration and water drop compaction tests are carried out on aeolian sand subgrade in different bidding sections,and the compaction effect of aeolian sand subgrade under different construction technology is analyzed systematically;Through the sand filling method and cutting ring of aeolian sand of dry density test,and analyzes the two kinds of methods of product difference sand subgrade compaction degree on the detection of wind;A light dynamic penetration method is proposed to rapidly detect the compactness of aeolian sand subgrade.(2)Built in different thickness,different slope and different rolling times condition of eolian sand roadbed model,analyzed the subgrade compaction effect under various conditions,and to determine the best scheme of subgrade compaction.The deformation characteristics of aeolian sand subgrade with thick layer are analyzed,and the two compaction effect under load is studied,and its deformation law is summarized.(3)Numerical analysis of uneven settlement at the junction of subgrade filling and excavation of aeolian sand steep slope is carried out,and the effect of different geocell reinforcement location,number of plies,modulus and height on the uneven settlement is discussed,and the optimum reinforcement method is finally determined.
