Study On Main Function Regionalization Of Desert Tourism In Tengger Desert

With the trend of deepening tourism development,desert areas use their desolate and exotic style to attract people and promote the rapid development of desert tourism,relying on the unique landform type of the desert.On the one hand,there is a natural conflict between the development of desert resources and ecological environment protection.On the other hand,there is a lack of a unified higher-level tourism development plan in the desert zone.Therefore,it is very necessary to study the main functional areas of tourism in desert areas.Based on the concept of sustainable tourism development,this paper refers to the process and method of relevant zoning.By taking the Tengger Desert area as a research case area,the paper selects the 2018 satellite image map as the basic data and combines other spatial data to clarify the Tengger Desert area,to construct the index system of the main functional zoning of desert tourism in the Tengger Desert area from the perspective of the suitability of desert tourism development.The GIS spatial analysis method is mainly used to obtain the results of the zoning.The results are revised and subdivided by taking administrative divisions,nature reserves,vegetation coverage,and regional desert tourism development status into account,and finally four types of main functional areas are divided,and the development direction and development mode of each functional area are clarified.Based on the division,corresponding development strategies are proposed.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)According to the concept and connotation analysis of the main functional zones of desert tourism,the main functional zones of desert tourism are divided into four types of main tourist zones:optimized development zone,key development zone,moderate development zone and ecological maintenance zone.Different functional zones have their own connotation,development positioning and future development direction.(2)The main functional division of Tengger Desert tourism is taken as a large and medium scale research case,and the km grid method is selected as the basic research unit.(3)The tourism resources in the Tengger Desert area are rich and diverse.Relying on the Tengger Desert landscape resources and unique ecological environment,it is roughly summarized into six types of different types of desert tourist scenic development models:desert landscape sightseeing mode,desert Geological scientific research mode,desert exploration development mode,desert industry development mode,desert vacation experience mode and desert park recreation mode.(4)With reference to the relevant zoning process,the idea of the main functional zoning of desert tourism in the Tengger Desert area can be summarized as four steps:"determining the zoning range and unit,determining the index system and weight,determining the zoning result,amending and subdividing the zoning result".(5)The results of the main functional zoning in the Tengger Desert area are characterized by regular spatially differentiated features,and the zoning results show a clear orientation of tourism support conditions.Finally,based on the above conclusions,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed,in order to standardize the sequence of tourism space development in the Tengger Desert area,guide the sustainable and benign development of desert tourism in desert areas,and promote the improvement of the tourism spatial planning system in the northwest desert area.
