Since the excellent economic performance and strong ability in terrain adaptation of continuous asymmetric rigid frame bridge with long-span and high-piers,it has become the most preferred bridge type to cross deep valleys in China.Because of its complex structure characteristics,its seismic response presents a special rule.So the seismic response investigation to this kind of bridge has very important significance.The aim of this paper is to discuss the seismic response of asymmetric rigid frame bridge with long-span and high-piers.The main research contents are as follows.1.The common bridge earthquake disasters,bridge seismic analysis theory and the bridge seismic fortification standards at home and abroad are summarized.The advantages and disadvantages of different seismic analysis method are compared and analyzed.2.The model of asymmetric rigid frame bridge with long-span and high-piers is set up.Based on the natural vibration characteristic analysis,investigation of structure under the action of consistent earthquake is conducted by response spectrum method and dynamic time history method.The structural seismic response characteristics of different seismic condition are explored.3.Asymmetric models of different structure parameters such as different height of piers and ratio between side span and main span are set up.The seismic response of the structure in key sections is analyzed.According to the result of the response,the effect of the such structure parameters to seismic response is researched.4.Take asymmetric and symmetric large-span continuous rigid frame bridge with long-span and high-piers as the object,various models based on different forms of interaction of piles and soil are established.The dynamic time history analysis of the models under the action of design earthquake are conducted.The seismic response characteristics of symmetric and asymmetric structures under different soil interactions are investigated.
