With the rapid development of construction industry in our country,construction industry caused a lot of natural resources consumption and environmental pollution.Therefore,the research and development of sustainable green construction materials and the corresponding production technology was helpful to reduce environmental damage.On the basis of existing the plywood structure of steel /bamboo,a new type of square,thin-walled steel tube/bamboo plywood composite hollow column with binding bars(SBCCB)was proposed and studied on its eccentric compression behavior.9 SBCCB specimens,a kind of assembling hollow column parallel to the fiber texture,was composed of square thin-walled cold-formed steel-tube and bamboo-plywood by the fastening of the transverse binding bars and structural adhesive(SBCCB),and the failure modes,bearing capacity and influence factors of SBCCB subjected to eccentric compression loading were investigated.The results indicate that the compressive failures of specimens are primarily the debonding failure at the column end,the debonding failure of the matrix interfaces in the middle of column between binding bars and the compressive damage of bamboo plywood material.The ultimate bearing capacity of SBCCB generally increases as the net cross-sectional area of gluing bamboo and hollow ratio increases,decreases as the slenderness ratio and the loading eccentricity increase.The binding bars can effectively slow the glue failure of SBCCB,change the ultimate buckling mode and advantageously improve the compressive bearing capacity of specimens.Local buckling decreases as the binding bars spacing decreases.Finally,software ABAQUS was used to simulate testing models and the reliability of models was verified.Based on the analysis of numerical parameters,this paper discussed the change rule of the main influence factors and the bearing capacity of SBCCB.
