Nowadays,TMD(Tuned Mass Damper)and VFD(Viscous Fluid Damper)are two of the most outstanding and practical vibration-damping technology.However,in terms of high-rise gas industrial plants,the research on combined effect of TMD and VFD is rare.In this dissertation,the research work are as follows:(1)Firstly,by utilising the ANSYS finite element software,three-dimensional models of high-rise industrial gas plants were built,which were similar with the actual structure of those.The model analysis was then conducted to those models.(2)Secondly,according to the intrinsic characteristics of the structure of high-rise industrial gas plants,four finite element models were designed,including steel support,TMD,VFD,TMD and VFD,respectively;Then dynamic responses of those models under the influences of Tianjin wave and Qian'an wave were researched;By utilising numerical calculation,the displacement time history curves,acceleration time history curves and angular acceleration time history curves of the top structure of those models were comparatively analysed;The research results showed that the combination of TMD and VFD performed best to the vibration-damping effect on high-rise industrial gas plants.(3)Finally,in order to verify the actual vibration control effects of TMD on the architectural structure,the scale model of three-layer steel frame was designed;First of all,by utilising the vibration table and the data acquisition instrument to scan and apply harmonic excitation and random seismic wave to the test framework in sequence,the relevant data were obtained,such as the vibration frequency and the acceleration time history curves of the top structure;After that,TMD was installed on the framework;Next,the data about acceleration time history curves of the top structure and acceleration time history curves of TMD were obtained through applied the same loads to the steel frame;Lastly,the two groups of data were comparatively analysed,and it was verified that TMD performed well to the vibration-damping effect on three-layer steel frame.
