Based on a variety of the aging detection methods of silicone rubber sheds,this paper detected and analyzed the situation of the aging of silicone rubber sheds in XinLong 220 KV substation of Dongguan Power Supply Bureau,summarized the aging parameters of silicone rubber sheds of the substation and the correlations between aging parameters and aging degree,researched and conducted the restoration material and technology.There are plenty of methods of testing the aging of silicone rubber sheds.They can be summarized and divided into four major categories: physical detection,chemical detection,electrical detection and micro detection.Each category contains a variety of specific detection methods.Breaking through the common and simple aging detection method of silicone rubber sheds in the substation,this paper applied 10 detection methods,which include water repellency,hardness,gloss,crack,organic swelling,CTI tolerance,insulation resistance,electron microscope scan,x-ray photoelectron spectroscopic analysis and x-ray diffraction analysis,for comprehensive detection and research.Through characteristics analysis of the test results,we summarized the characterized aging parameters of silicone rubber sheds for the substation,and set up the logical correlation between aging parameters and aging degree.First of all,this paper introduced the features of silicone rubber material,applications in power industry and current situation of aging research.Secondly,we introduced a variety of detection methods of aging and its characteristics,carried out aging detections based on those methods with 3 typical samples in the substation.Thirdly,we analyzed and compared the differences of the detection data,summarized the parameters which can better reflect the aging of silicone rubber sheds based on the research of its aging mechanism and aging factors.According to the detection methods and restoration experience on silicone rubber sheds of Dongguan Power Supply Bureau,we also set up the quantitative correlation between aging parameters and aging degree of silicone rubber sheds from macro and micro perspectives.Furthermore,we did some research on improved restoration material and standard restoration technology.Finally,we repaired two separate silicone rubber sheds in the substation,passed the QC check,gained a certain achievement,and offered a good reference for the research and detection of aging silicone rubber sheds of substation in power supply industry.
