The incorporation of rubber particles into concrete not only provides a new way to solve the black pollution caused by used tires, but also to a certain extent, improves the toughness of concrete. However, the incorporation of rubber leads to a significant reduction in the strength of concrete, which severely limits the application and popularization of rubber concrete. This is mainly because the rubber particles are hydrophobic synthetic colloidal material, the density is small and the particles contain air inside, which are so easy to float in the water, thus leading to such problems as uneven distribution, knot lump, floating and so on in the production process of the rubber concrete while mixing and vibrating the rubber particles in the concrete. If you can change the characteristics of rubber particles such as small density and large differences between the surface properties and the concrete aggregate, the rubber concrete defects can be effectively avoided. Our task group produces a feasible method through a number of attempts: first, soak rubber particles with ordinary tap water until the particles completely sink without surface bubbles. Then mix the cement and rubber particles with 20% quick-setting agent in a volume ratio of 1: 1,and stir for 3 minutes, then add the appropriate amount of water and stir for 5 minutes, then spread the mixture evenly on a clean concrete floor with a knife and sieve excess powder when the granules become dry.And then conserve it in the water for 3 days. When you need to use it,take out the particles, filter excess impurities, and mix them for use when they turn dry.As the treated particles look like small stones in general with the surface being gray and sound like gravel while shaking, the law is temporarily called "petrochemical law." In order to verify the feasibility of this method, the petrochemical rubber concrete comparative test is conducted to determine its performance. In this thesis, the rubber concrete made of fine aggregate was used as the control group with the volume of 5%,10% and 15% rubber particles as the reference group, and then the volume was 5%,10%,15%.The physical properties of the rubber concrete have been studied before and after the petrochemical treatment were carried out by compressive and tensile test,anti-freeze-thaw performance test. The results show that:1.When observing the distribution of particles in the specimen, the uniformity of the rubberized concrete is better than that of the ordinary rubber concrete.2.Petrochemical rubber concrete has greatly improved in terms of compression and splitting tensile strength compared with ordinary rubber concrete.3.In the freeze-thaw resistance test, the frost resistance of the petrochemical rubber concrete is between the reference concrete and the ordinary rubber concrete. This shows that the petrochemical process can really make the rubber particles in the specimen distribute even more evenly and improve the mechanical properties of rubber concrete.
