As a special high value-added vessels,wind power equipment installation vessel has also got a lot of attention.Since wind power installation vessel has its own particular operation modes,the draft operation mode and dynamic positioning operation mode,the propulsion thrust system of wind power installation vessel has the extremely obvious characteristics.In order to study propulsion system of wind power equipment installation vessel,in considering the multi-mode running thrust system under the condition of system characteristics,the author used theoretical analysis and numerical calculation methods to analysis the performance of the propulsion system under different modes.Firstly,the thrust system of wind power installation vessel is analyzed,combining with the development of wind power installation vessel and operation needs,this paper mainly introduces the thrust system.In order to obtain minimum energy consumption values,the new overall assessment target has been set to evaluate wind power installation vessel propulsion performance.And then the author analyzed the commonly OARS and thruster's forms and features,analyzed the open water characteristics of the thruster system,chose appropriate forms of propeller and thruster.Studied different catheter parameters which affected the performance of duct propeller.The result shows that changes of tube length and relative location of the duct and propeller can effectively improve the draft efficiency and dynamic positioning efficiency.For wind power installation vessel's dual working modes,dynamic positioning is the main operating mode,we designed scalable new catheter OARS under dynamic positioning mode.When it comes to draft mode,changing the catheter can effectively improve the efficiency of draft propeller system.In addition,new pipe gives some guidance on project implementation.According to demands of wind power installation vessel's dual operation modes,author designed new thruster system and traditional thruster system,combined with the actual working condition to study the static equilibrium performance,provide a reference for future research.Through the analysis of the result of the dynamic positioning capacity curve,it can be seen that the new scalable catheter oar can provide greater resistance to environment load capacity.Finally,thrust system solutions has been analyzed with the time domain simulation,the process of wind power installation of ship dynamic positioning time domain simulation and control system model are introduced.New scalable duct propeller thrust system and the traditional dynamic positioning thrust system are introduced,by calculating environment load and propeller power on the system in three hours,total energy consumption has been analyzed and compared,from the result can visually see new scalable catheter oar has better performance in energy consumption.The work of this paper on wind power installation of ship propulsion system will provide a new research idea in actual engineering design,providing a reference for practical engineering operation of low energy consumption.
