Due to the high-light strength and strong seismic performance characteristics,steel structure is widely used in high-rise and super high-rise buildings.The ductility and energy dissipation of steel frame structures have always been one of the research hotspots.Due to the local brittle failure of steel frame structures in several earthquakes,domestic and foreign scholars have carried out research on new ductile connections of steel frame structures.Among them,because of its simple production process and enhancement of the seismic performance,the beam weakened connections has become a hot topic which worth studying.In recent years,the researchers have carried out a lot of theoretical and experimental research from the aspects of mechanism,conncetion and structure.However,the weakening of the beam flange will inevitably lead to the reduction of overall stiffness and strength of the steel structure,at the same time,the weakened number should also put into consideration when doing the weakening design.Therefore,the study on the optimal design of the steel frame structure with the ductile connection is still worthy of further study.In this paper,the finite element simulation combined with the test method has been used to do the study on the optimal design of weakened number and weakened parameters of the steel frame structure with ductile conncetions.Based on the present research situation and the basic theory,this paper first used the idea of structural optimization design,established the structural optimization design model of weakened number optimization research,and designed three different weakened steel frame structures to carry out cyclic loading.Through the failure model,hysteresis curve and skeleton curve of structural model,the weakened number optimization and the stiffness and the energy consumption performance of steel frame structure with ductile conncetions were studied.Secondly,according to the finite element simulation of the weakened number optimization of the steel frame structure with ductile conncetions,the relevant models were designed to carry out the quasi-static tests to do the experimental research on the weakened number optimization of the steel frame structure with ductile conncetions.The experimental results were compared with the numerical simulation results to verify the correctness of the finite element results.Finally,the weakened parameter optimization of the steel frame structure with ductile connections was analyzed and three series of structure models were designed to carry out the finite element analysis.The influence of the weakened parameters on the ductility,energy dissipation,stiffness and bearing capacity of the ductile steel frame structure and the primary and secondary relations of the control functions were discussed.And the relevant examples were validated to provide the design basis for the follow-up study on the optimal design of steel frame structure with ductile connections.
