The Function Information Of Textile Facade & Structure In Architecture

With the development of modern architecture,construction technology continues to progress,the trend of design is innovating,related theories of space and form has matured,but researches on architecture information are less well established,not to mention researches on textile expression of architecture function information.Based on the design of fiber construction I participated in University of Stuttgart,the analysis of a number of cases and studies on relevant subject discussion,this paper studies textile facade and construction from the perspective of architecture function information.The key elements of architecture function information are content,media,audience according to information theory of communication.From these key elements,characteristics and scope of textile facade and construction are clarified.Through comparative analysis and inductive inference,design principles,design strategies,design methods and the corresponding technical means of architecture function information are put forward to form the theoretical framework of textile expression.From an information expression perspective,both design and construction determines the textile information expression of architecture,which serves as a kind of pan mass media.This study conducted a more detailed classification of textile building function information content,including era information,geographical information,environmental information,character information,guidance information,aesthetic information and emotional information.In this classification,the principles of information expression,which are vanguard technology,information recombination,efficient expression and rich in light and shadow are suggested to follow.Six design strategies are derived including abstract bionic to fill the gaps in this part of the study.The structure oriented textile research strategy is introduced from abroad.The paper summarizes the design techniques of textile architectural function information's expression.These techniques are in accordance with the constructive significance of textile,which are helpful for the architect to grasp the textile expression of the architectural function information.
