In recent years,with the continuous improvement of construction technology,high pier and long-span continuous rigid frame bridge is favored by engineers because of superior spanning ability,convenient construction,less investment,and high economic efficiency.With the large number of construction in recent years,the span and pier height of continuous rigid frame bridge are increasing,and the seismic response becomes more and more obvious.The dynamic characteristics of the high pier and long-span continuous rigid frame bridge are also complicated,and the seismic response of the bridge is different from that of ordinary small and medium span bridges.Therefore,it is urgent to study the seismic performance of such bridges and to develop effective seismic measures.This paper discussed the research status and characteristics of continuous rigid frame bridge.Then,several analysis methods of bridge seismic response are introduced.Taking Shanxi Qinshui bridge as the research object,the response spectrum analysis and time history analysis of the bridge are conducted.The main work is as follows:(1)The finite element calculation software midas Civil is used to establish the foundation consolidation model and pile model of the bridge.The influence of pile soil interaction on the dynamic characteristics of the structure is analyzed.(2)The response spectrum of the bridge is analyzed and the results of pier consolidation and pile model is compared to research the effect of pile soil interaction on the seismic response.(3)Three kinds of seismic waves are used to analyze the dynamic time history of the structure under the same excitation.The results are compared with the response spectrum analysis,and some conclusions are drawn.By comparing the results of three seismic waves,the influence of different seismic waves on the seismic response of the bridge is obtained.By comparing the results of three-dimensional and two-dimensional time-history analysis,the effects of vertical seismic action on theseismic response of the structure are obtained.(4)Considering the traveling wave effect,the El-Centro wave is chosen for the multi-point excitation of the bridge,and the results are compared with that of the consistent excitation analysis to analyze the influence of traveling wave effect.The different pile height and the transverse beam connection model of Qinshui bridge are established to study the influence of the pier sensitivity parameter on the seismic response of the high pier long span continuous rigid frame bridge.
