Wind energy is a safe and pollution-free green renewable energy,wind power generation has become one of the most large-scale development technology and the most commercial development prospects of the new energy power generation.The permanent magnet wind power generator has the advantages of high efficiency,simple structure,high reliability and multi-poles low speed,widely used for wind turbine,so it has good application prospect.In this paper,a novel type of outer rotor composite magnetic circuit permanent magnet wind generator is used as the research object.The electromagnetic design method,the finite element simulation analysis of electromagnetic field and three-dimensional performance analysis are studied,which provides a certain theory for low wind speed wind power generation technology.First of all,the traditional outer rotor permanent magnet wind turbine used fieldcircuit method for electromagnetic design and research analysis.According to the given design specifications,the main dimensions of the motor,the electromagnetic parameters,the permanent magnet material and the shape,the pole groove matching and the winding form are selected,and the stator and rotor parameters and the electromagnetic performance parameters are calculated by the equivalent magnetic circuit method.The calculation of permanent magnet generator is carried out based on the RMxprt.The relationship between the length of magnetization direction,the tooth width and the magnetic flux density,the effective length of the core for efficiency and the output power are studied by parametric analysis to determine the initial program of permanent magnet generators.Secondly,in the Maxwell 2D electromagnetic field finite element analysis software,the permanent magnet generator model is established and the electromagnetic field inside the motor is simulated more accurately by static magnetic field and transient magnetic field.In the static magnetic field,the magnetic field distribution plots,the magnetic cloud image and the cogging torque curve are used to verify the basic electromagnetic performance of the motor.The transient analysis is carried out under the three conditions of no-load,rated load and short circuit fault.The armature reaction of the machine and the change of the output voltage have been simulated at different speed.Two-dimensional electromagnetic field simulation analysis is necessary to the theoretical basis for the three-dimensional simulation andelectromagnetic design research of composite magnetic circuit structure permanent magnet generator.Finally,on the basis of the research and analysis of the traditional radial-flux permanent magnet generator,the magnetic circuit structure of the motor is further improved,a novel permanent magnet generator with compound magnetic circuit structure is designed,and the three-dimensional model of the rotor magnetic circuit is established by mechanical drawing software Solidworks,which import the Maxwell3 D electromagnetic field finite element analysis software.Compared with the traditional radial-flux permanent magnet generator,the composite magnetic circuit structure forms the axial-flux magnetic circuit as the main magnetic circuit,radial-flux as the supplement one,increasing the air gap magnetic density,reducing the permanent magnet material,lower motor costs.Furthermore,the starting reluctance moment is greatly reduced,the performance of low wind speed is improved.
