With the progress of science and technology and the development of modern industry,industrial detection field towards automation,intelligent,the traditional manual detection has been unable to satisfy the detection requirements for modern enterprises,machine vision detection technology has been widely used in the field of modern industrial detection with its high detection efficiency,high precision,low cost advantage.Bearing often appeared appearance defects such as bump,abrasion,scratch and corrosion in the process of production and assembly,usually by artificial visual detection to eliminate bearing with appearance defects.With the rapid development of machine vision detection technology and Embedded Digital Signal Processor,the machine vision detection system based on DSP platform has been widely used.This article in view of the modern bearing enterprise requirements of automation testing for bearing appearance and the shortage of the method of traditional manual testing,designing a set of system of defects detection of bearing surface based on DSP technology.In this paper,the main work is divided into the following four aspects.First,this paper briefly introduces and analyses the development and researches status of machine vision system and DSP technology,which provide theoretical basis for machine vision detection system based on DSP hardware platform structures and the design of the bearing appearance defects detection algorithm.Second,This paper detailedly introduces the construction of the hardware platform and the design of each modual in the system of bearing surface's defects detection.The system hardware platform mainly includes the light source,camera,lens,LCD display and the hardware circuit design of DSP image processing system.Third,based on the visual characteristics of collected bearing appearance,designing the appearance defect detection algorithm,which includes image capture,image preprocessing,image positioning,subtraction processing,morphological operating,defects recognition,etc.Fourth,this paper deeply analyzes the problem of code optimization and execution efficiency,as well optimizes the algorithm of bearing surface defect detection to improve the image processing speed and enhance the real-time property of the detection system.The defects detection of bearing surface system based on DM642 is using DSP image detection hardware platform as well real-time defect detection algorithm,aimed at improving bearing quality,production efficiency and automation level of production.Verified by experiment,the method can effectively detect the bearing appearance defects and it has the characteristics of fast detection speed,high precision and good stability.
