In recent years,with global missile threat heating up,as an important part of missile defense system,space-based infrared detection system has played an irreplaceable role in modern war,which is of great strategic significance.In the testing and evaluation process of system demonstration,image processing and target detection tracing algorithm,lots of infrared remote sensing data is needed,and infrared image band extension based on measured data is a feasible method of simulation generating infrared remote sensing image.In this paper,with Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)data as measured data,following infrared image band extension based on measured data,intensive study is conducted,and the main work and research achievement are as follows:(1)Preprocessed two data source used in the paper.For MODIS data,put forward sea-land segmentation method based on coast mark and dual channel threshold thick clouds detection method,and fulfilled the background classification of infrared remote sensing image.About National Centers for Environmental Prediction(NCEP)reanalysis data,proposed an altitude correction of atmosphere pressure method based on temperature gradient correction,and prolonging the temperature and humidity profile.(2)Introducing the frame of infrared image band extension based on measured data and the key parameter calculation of atmospheric radiative transfer model.Presenting statistical regression of atmospheric transmittance profile real-time calculation method and atmospheric path radiation calculation methods of cumulative layer by layer,and using Moderate resolution Transmission(MODTRAN)calculation results to verify the model precision.(3)Introducing the implementation method of infrared image band extension based on measured data.First,introducing the procedure of infrared image band extension,then,presented infrared image band extension models of sea-land background and cloud background,and at last,presented quality evaluation index of infrared image band expansion based on measured data,and evaluating and analyzing the quality of band extension simulation results at different background.
