With the development of 3D visualization technology of deep space exploration,there are more and more research on 3D model,including modeling method,retrieval system technology,format conversion and so on.Science and technology have been developed rapidly,and the development of space industry can not be separated from the support of three-dimensional visualization technology.For a three-dimensional real-time visualization system,massive 3D models would be called and operated in the implementation of visualization tasks,as a result of it is the key to normally manage these models.Based on the above background,the primary contents of this paper include the following aspects: Creating different categories model by using 3dsMax modeling tools,such as planets,satellites,spacecraft,astronomical telescope,it analyzes practicability of modeling tool for real-time 3D visualization of space technology,at the same time accumulated materials for the management of 3D model;This paper uses the Backus-Naur Form(BNF)standardized description of 3DS files and introduces the use method of describing and analyzing 3DS file structure in BNF.Finally taking Tethys.3DS file as an example,it gives that the the formal definition in BNF,thus forming a management uniform format;This paper designs and develops a 3DS file feature extractor,which can extract feature information by inputting 3DS file to parse the block structure,including the material,texture,vertex,the number of objects,etc..According to the block ID to identify the important blocks and output file in TXT format,providing reliable information for classification and coding;In this paper,we put forward the management code for the classification and coding of 3D model and design the classification and coding system.The system uses the B/S(Browser/Server)three-layers model,and uses network scripting language to achieve the required functions.Based on the above research,this paper analyzes the practicality of the modeling tool to the space real-time 3D visualization technology,and describes the data format of the 3DS file using BNF.It designs and develops a 3D model classification and coding system,including the 3DS file feature extractor and 3D model classification encoder.By constructing different types of celestial models and using the classification and coding system to classify and code the specific model,it verifies the feasibility of this study.By reviewing the related literature,the concept of classification and coding is first applied to the field of managing models,which is an effective attempt of standardized managing the models in real-time 3D visualization system in deep space exploration using classification and coding system,hoping to provide some help for the aerospace industry.
