The Bridge Building Machine is an advanced mechanical equipment which is widely used now,and the segment assembled with glue seam is a novel construction methods with the BBM.There is no longitudinal reinforcement or concrete connection in the cast-in-place of the segmental assembly of box girders with glue seam.The separate beams make a whole by shear blocks and prestressing force,and the requirement of the linear is very high during the assembly process.It’s necessary to study the line shape variation and control method of bridge machine during the segment glue-jointed box girder construction,and the study has powerful practical meaning,as well as provides guidance and reference for segment glue-jointed box girder construction in the similar cases which use the same type of bridge building machine in the future.The paper is a case study based on the application of 64 m segmental installed box-girder in North East Channel Bridge of Pingtan railway.After the review of the bridge building machine and segmental glue-jointed technology,use the finite element analysis software ANSYS to simulate and analysis the mechanical properties of the new type of bridge building machine named SPZ2700/64 which was designed for high speed railway,and study the stitching process of 64 m segmental installed box-girder.The main work and conclusions are as follows:(1)Propose a new bridge building machine for high speed railway named SPZ2700/64,and discuss in detail the technical design,structure,construction procedure and notes in construction et.(2)Analyze mechanical properties of the bridge building machine by ANSYS.Consider different conditions including under load beam,the front cantilever max and back cantilever max during the process.Obtain the internal forces of main beams in operating modes,and then summarize the changing rules of the internal forces,as well as analyze the strength of the principal truss and the stability of the bridge building machine.The analysis results show that the internal forces of the main trusses of the bridge machine under the three unfavorable conditions are within the allowable limits stipulated in the specification.The most unfavorable conditions is the back cantilever max during the process.Structure is in a state of local instability in these three adverse conditions.It can be concluded that the structure is safe and satisfies the requirements of the specification.(3)Construct the finite element model of the bridge building machine and the box girders by ANSYS,and get initial line shape after simulation through the construction method.Place parts of the beam in the initial position according to the design based on the line shape.Simulate and analyze the height and axial force change of screws each assembling of the beam after moving,and analyze the changing rules and then obtain the control of assembling method.The stitching process of the bridge building machine simulation results show that the assembling piece by piece through adjusting is practicable for the segment installation with glue seam method.The final result can satisfy the requirements of bridge design line shape by the control of the line shape through adjusting the screw height and controlling the screw shaft force during the segment assembly process with glue seam of the bridge.
