With the development of Automotive Industry. For the automakers, the design requirements of transmission become increasingly higher.Especially the vibration characteristics of the transmission, which affects the comfort and safety of the vibration, has become the focus which automobile designers care for.In recent years, the transmission corporations test dynamic property mainly by experiment, which will costs lots of resource. So with the help of the computer technologies, using the means of simulation to predict the transmission vibration characteristics is economic. This article combines the simulation analysis and test analysis.,the modal and vibration of the five shaft satin speed transmission is analysed.Comparing the simulation results and the experimental results, this article demonstrates the correctness and feasibility of simulating vibration characteristics by transmission Multi-body model.According to the 3D model of the 5-speed transmission providing by the transmission corporation,we use Hypermesh software, analyzes the modal of the transmission by finite element mode method, have got the modal frequency and vibration mode of the transmission. In order to verify the accuracy of the software simulation.Transmission modal is analysed by hammering method later. After comparing the simulation result with the experimental result,we get that,in the first five step natural frequency, the maximum error is less than 4.72%,and maximum deformation position is consistent. So it is accurate to simulate the transmission moda in this wayRigid-flexible coupling model is established by SIMPACK.The acceleration of transmission suspensions is tested in the state of 1st.The input shaft accelerates from 0 rpm to 5000 rpm.It is concluded that the transmission is easily generated near the 750 Hz,1000Hz,2000 Hz and 2500 Hz frequencies. In order to verify the accuracy of the simulation, the acceleration is tested by experimental method in the same state.Comparing the simulation result with the experimental result, proves that establishing the rigid-flexible coupling multi-body model by SIMPACK software to obtain the vibration characteristics of transmission is feasible.
