Research Of The Evolution Of Urban Fabric Based On Architecture Typology

City is an organic whole,constantly grow stronger and metabolism in the long river of history,left a continuous flipping.Urban fabric is external materialized representation of the process,to a certain extent,mapping the evolution of the context,to contain the historical evolution of the internal mechanism and information.Since the 1980 s,the modernization construction development rapidly,urban fabric constantly updated in the process of modernization.Distinctive urban fabric which formed in special natural and historical environment,gradually declined in the process of modernization drive.How to the continuity urban fabric and shape the city region characteristic,has become a problem need to solve urgently.Typology pay close attention to the inner deep structure and law of things,can provide methodological guidance.According to the role in the overall structure,the elements of urban fabric can be divided into binding elements and repetitive urban fabric.At different spatial scales,the elements urban fabric are different.Based on the architecture typology as the main research method,the Yuzhong peninsula in Chongqing as example,this paper research the type and evolution of urban fabric respectively from the space dimension and time dimension.Explore the characteristics of types,the principle of generation and law of evolution of urban fabric,in order to provide important reference for inheriting the context in the process of urban renewal.On the spatial dimension,this paper study the urban fabric elements of the Yuzhong peninsula,respectively from the macro,meso and micro three dimension.And studied the landscape pattern and function structure on macro city scale,the street network and block on medium neighborhood scale,the building and building composite on the micro plot scale.Research the types and characteristics of the urban fabric element at different spatial scales.On the time dimension,the process of historical development of the Yuzhong peninsula in Chongqing can be divided into three stages,the feudal traditional period(314 BC-1891),the modern period after port opening(1891-1949)and modern period after the founding of new China(since 1949).This paper research evolvement of urban fabric type,analysis the influence factors of the evolution in different stages.As the material carrier of urban space form,urban fabric is very stable and continuous in the process of historical evolution.In this paper,starting from the organizational structure of urban fabric,the evolution law of urban fabric was summarized as two aspects,the "control" of binding elements and the "self-similarity proliferation" of repetitive elements.Binding elements is the structural elements of urban fabric,that has a long-term presence of controlling and keep the whole structure of urban fabric continuous.When external intervention is too large,urban fabric will break through the control of binding elements,forming the "fragmentation evolution"."Self-similarity proliferation" of repetitive elements show as.Repetitive elements is the fill factor of urban fabric,in a same period,repetitive elements always proliferate in the same types.With the development of social life,repetitive elements will upgrade from bottom to top in use process with the change of social life,forming the "blur evolution".At last,on the basis of the organic renewal theory,try to discuss how to continue and protect historical urban fabric in the process of urban construction,from two aspects of binding elements and repetitive elements.
