Fiber Reinforced Plastics with excellent corrosion resistance,splendid hydraulic performance,small specific gravity,light weight and good comprehensive benefits have been widely used in the equipment of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering.At present,FRP is mainly used in seawater pipeline,including ballast water system,fire water fighting system and sewage system etc.The normal operation of the pipeline system is the premise of ensuring the safety of ships,equipment and personnel.Taking into account the harsh environment of the sea and complex factors,the pipeline system needs to have higher requirements.Therefore,in order to prove the feasibility of the application of FRP in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering,it is necessary to analyze the stress of FRP pipe system.The research content of this paper is to prove the feasibility of adhibition for the FRP pipe to the typical offshore platform system.The main pipeline system is the ballast water system and fire water fighting system.The influence of elastic modulus on stress analysis of pipeline is discussed.The static analysis of FPSO ballast water system and fire water fighting system were carried out,and the primary stress and secondary stress were checked.On the basis,the influence of water hammer on the stress of pipeline was emphatically studied.The specific research contents are as follows:1?The fire water fighting system and exhaust system of the rear cabin on FPSO are taken as the research object.The influence of the hot and cold elastic modulus on the pressure of the pipeline is discussed.The advantages and disadvantages of the two methods are analyzed,and provide the basis for the follow-up stress analysis.The influence of the hot and cold elastic modulus on the selection of the spring support is briefly discussed.2?The ballast water system and fire water fighting system on FPSO are taken as the research object.The differences of working condition between FRP and Cu-Ni alloy pipe are discussed,and according to the determined analysis of the working conditions,check and analyze the two materials piping system for primary stress and secondary stress respectively.The differences of pipe stress,restraint loads and displacement result are discussed by contrasting and analyzing,in order to prove the feasibility of FRP application.3?The ballast water system and fire water fighting system on FPSO are taken as the research object.Dynamic analysis of water hammer load on FRP and Cu-Ni alloy were carried out respectively by CAESARII software dynamic analysis module,and the influence of the stress on the pipe is discussed.The feasibility of the application of FRP is further proved by comparative analysis.4?Taking FPSO fire-fighting water system as the research object,considering the water hammer analysis using CAESARII directly,only the maximum water hammer load is used to calculate,and the water hammer load attenuation process is neglected.Therefore,using professional transient analysis software PIPENET,the water hammer load spectrum was introduced into CAESARII for dynamic analysis and compared with the estimated water hammer load stress.
