At present,the energy crisis and environmental pollution problems become increasingly seriously.The world has a strong demand for clean and safe energy.Solar energy is not only one of the most common and extremely easy to develop,but also has the advantages of clean and inexhaustible.So it stands out among lots of renewable energy.Aiming at the problem of low efficiency for the bipolar photovoltaic power generation system,this paper studies the two points which are the maximum power point tracking and the interface circuit of photovoltaic cell.In this paper,the basic principle of photovoltaic cell is analyzed and the output characteristic curves are given firstly.From the output characteristic curve,it can be known that the photovoltaic cell only has one extreme point.In order to improve the efficiency of photovoltaic cell as much as possible,the maximum power point tracking is necessary.Then three common methods of maximum power point tracking and their advantages and disadvantages are analyzed.Then the paper uses Fuzzy control algorithm to achieve maximum power point tracking.The simulation model and results of different illumination and temperature are given.Secondly,the Boost converter is usually used in the DC-DC link.Aiming at the problem of low efficiency for the traditional Boost converter,principle of two-phase interleaving technology and the operation mode of passive lossless soft-switching Boost converter are analyzed in detail.In view of the complementary function of the two technologies,they are applied to the traditional Boost converter.Then an improved Boost converter which can solve the low efficiency of traditional Boost converter is created.Thirdly,in order to further verify the effectiveness of this improved circuit,this paper designed the improved converter and traditional converter.Experiments confirm that compared with the traditional Boost converter,this new improved Boost converter has lower loss and higher output power.Finally,the MPPT based on Fuzzy control and the improved Boost circuit are used in the photovoltaic power generation system and the simulation model of the system is given.The results of simulation show that compared with the traditional Boost converter,the improved Boost circuit can improve the efficiency of the PV system.
