Since the 21 st century,with the rapid development of economy and the expansion of urban,China is facing a large number of urban population growth,energy consumption increased and the increasingly prominent environmental problems.Under the pressures of energy and environmental problems,many cities in China have focused on energy saving and reducing the amount of motor vehicles and exhaust emissions.And promoting new energy vehicles becomes the best solution for energy problems and air pollution.In 2014,the Ministry of Transport issued the document Opinions on accelerating the popularization and application of new energy vehicles in the transportation sector.The document proposed that the number of new energy buses is expected to increase to 200,000 by 2020,indicating that electric bus is already the trend in public transit.However,because of the battery performance constraints,the characteristics such as driving range and charging time make its scheduling model more complex.Therefore,the traditional bus scheduling model may not apply to electric bus.Pure electric bus operation scheduling research is difficult and urgent.This paper introduces the characteristics of electric bus,including comparative analysis with other vehicle and advantages and disadvantages,and sums up the existing problems and future development strategies.On the basis of summarizing the problems of pure electric bus application,SWOT tools are used to analyze the internal and external competitive environment and competitive conditions of the industry,and the future development strategy of the industry is determined.Based on the analysis of the operational characteristics of electric bus,the paper analyzes the key factors influencing the operation.By optimizing the discharge depth and the charging magnification,the electric bus scheduling model is established with the aim of minimizing the cost of the vehicle and free travel distance.Finally select a line for instance comparison analysis,and the genetic algorithm is used to obtain the results and the dispatching of pure electric bus operation under different charging and discharging process is obtained after comparative analysis.The results show that the total number of pure electric buses is reduced and the cost of the minimum objective function decreases with the increase of the depth of discharge and the increasing of the charging rate.However,when the charging rate increases to a certain rate,the model results are constrained by the timetable and the optimal number of vehicles is no longer reduced.Compared with the original scheduling scheme,the solution of this model is better and the applicability of the model is proved.
