Research Of Solving Traffic Congestion In Zibo

Most of countries and regions face the challenge of traffic congestion all over the world.In recent years,the national economy level has gotten sustained growth in China,urbanization has been an increasing scale,followed by many problems,such as population,environmental pollution,housing problem and traffic congestion that is very serious especially.The status quo of Chinese urban traffic is that the construction of the hardware and software and traffic management planning can't keep up with and even hinder the development of the whole city,so the traffic congestion need to be solved urgently.It has been a very serious work using advanced technology and means to alleviate urban traffic congestion.It is representative and typicality to study traffic congestion in Zibo city which is an important transport hub city of east China and has the characteristics of group-type cities.Status quo of solutions and mechanism about traffic congestion were described firstly in the paper.Then the problems of "article","block",the old city and urban-to-urban in Zibo city were discussed in detail.On this basis,drawing lessons from the research achievements of predecessors,the countermeasure system to relieve traffic congestion of Zibo city was established synthesizing technology(methods),object(system level)and time(process)three dimensions.On technical dimension level,the signal coordination control system based on PLC was designed.It can adjust the light according to the vehicles arrival rate to control intersection traffic situation when intersection traffic congestion happened.Experiments showed that the method was simple and convenient.Measures of improving "article" and urban-to-urban traffic congestion were put forward based on traffic channelized and bus priority technology.Measures of improving corresponding congestion were also discussed based on microcirculation theory and infrastructure construction on object dimension level and based on process control management and traffic planning on time dimension level.This paper aims to realize the intelligent control of traffic signal by simple parameter design,and reduce traffic congestion in Zibo city through synthesizing countermeasure on the technology,object and time dimensions,and provide theory guidance for other urban congestion problems.
