In northeast China rural zones,the heating period is long in winter and the heating energy consumption is large.The research results show that the kangs occupy the main position in northeast rural heating equipments.According to the different nations and areas,the layout and form of kangs in the northeast traditional buildings can be divided into three types: The straight kang of Han nationality,the full house kang of Korean nationality and the bend kang of Manchu.However,with the nationals exchanges more closely,Kangs of ethnic minorities in Northeast are gradually approaching the Han nationality.It needs to protect and develop the diversity of kang culture.There are many problems of kangs in northeast traditional dwellings,such as low thermal efficiency,poor thermal comfort and air quality.It needs scientific research base on protecting the traditional characteristics of kangs.Based on the current situation of the lack of research on minority Kang,this paper analysis the forms and characteristics of different nationalities kangs in Northeast China.The straight kang of Han nationality is along the wall,the full house kang of Korean nationality is all over the house and the curve kang of Manchu is ?-shaped font along the north South and West wall.The straight kang of Han nationality has three kinds of flue structures.The full house kang of Korean nationality and the bend kang of Manchu have two kinds of flue structures: straight hole type and flower hole type.Korean is called The National on Kang,Manchu also formed an unique culture of the bend kang.In order to explore the thermal performance and the influence factors of traditional kangs,this paper tested a full house kang in a farm house of Bailong village in Jilin province and a bend kang in a farm in Shengli village of Liaoning Provincein.the full house kang has greater area,and the bend kang has a longer flue structure,they all have many problems such as uneven surface temperature and low average surface temperature.From the point of view of surface temperature,heat storage characteristics,comprehensive efficiency and system resistance,the method is presented to evaluate the thermal performance of the kangs.In order to get a reasonable operation parameter of the full house kang and the bend kang,the flue gas flow and heat transfer of the full house kang and the bend kang in different flue structures,flue gas inlet velocity and flue gas inlet temperature were simulated.The results show that the full house kang with horizontal hole type flue structure and the bend kang with ?-D flue structure can make kang surface temperature more uniform and control the temperature uniformity of the kang surface in a reasonable range.When the fire is running,every time evenly add fuel 1.5h.When flue gas inlet velocity is 1.0m/s,flue gas inlet temperature is 350 degrees centigrade,which is to add 6.2kg in the range of uniform corn stalk,the full house kang energy efficiency can reach the highest and close to the reasonable range of the Kang surface.When flue gas inlet velocity is 0.8m/s,flue gas inlet temperature is 400 degrees centigrade,which is to add 4.61 kg in the range of uniform corn stalk,the full house kang energy efficiency can reach the highest and close to the reasonable range of the Kang surface.
