In order to improve the operational reliability of spacecraft system,the redundancy technology is combined with the motor in this paper,and the double redundant permanent magnet synchronous motor is proposed.The double redundant permanent magnet synchronous motor does not only have a wide range of speed range,fast dynamic response and high power density belonging to permanent magnet synchronous motor,but also improve the safety and reliability of the motor system.Thus,it is attracting more and more scholars to research.In this paper,a 20-pole 24-slot permanent magnet synchronous motor is treated as the research object.Firstly,the performance of a traditional permanent magnet synchronous motor is analyzed.On the basis of the traditional motor model,the motor is re-phase-divided to obtain several kinds of double-redundant permanent magnet synchronous motors with different structures.The calculation and analysis of these kinds of double redundant motors are carried out,and the performance of several double redundant motors are analyzed and compared.In this paper,the operation principle and operation mode of double redundant permanent magnet synchronous motors are analyzed.The structure and characteristics of double redundant permanent magnet synchronous motors are introduced.The mathematical models of ABC three-phase coordinate system and dq0 coordinate system are established.The inductance parameters of the double redundant permanent magnet synchronous motors with different structures are analyzed and deduced,which provides a theoretical reference for the subsequent simulation analysis.Secondly,the traditional motor and several double redundant models with different configurations are established,and the finite element software is used for simulation analysis.The unloading characteristics of the traditional and double redundant motors are compared,and other performances of the traditional and double redundant motors are carried out under the condition that the no-load characteristics are kept equal.From the angle of motor inductance,the cross coupling characteristics of double redundant motors are analyzed emphatically.And the influence of the cross coupling characteristics on the mean value of the electromagnetic torque and the torque fluctuation is analyzed.Thirdly,the air gap flux density of the double redundant permanent magnet synchronous motors is deduced by the magnetic potential multiplication method.The electromagnetic force wave characteristics of the double redundant permanent magnet synchronous motors are analyzed by Maxwell stress method.The electromagnetic force wave characteristics of the traditional and double redundant motors under no load and rated load are calculated by finite element software.Finally,the application of heat transfer in the motor is introduced.The particularity of the calculation of the vacuum temperature field is analyzed.The differential equation of the heat conduction of the motor is deduced and the boundary condition of the vacuum temperature field is determined.The several kinds of loss of the motor are calculated by using the two-dimensional finite element software,and the thermal conductivities of each component of the motor are determined.The vacuum temperature field of a particular double redundant motor is calculated by using the Workbench software.
