Due to the extremely uneven distribution of water resources in China,coupled with the surge in population and the expansion of production scale,water shortage is extremely serious in some cities and regions.For water supply,shipping,irrigation,power generation and so on,inter-basin water transfer is the most direct and effective solution to the imbalance in water resources allocation,thus ensuring the safe operation of these pipelines is particularly important.How to make accurate and reliable computer simulation of long-distance water transfer project,so that designers can understand the difference between the simulation results and the real data,to better predict the stability and dangerous working conditions of longdistance water supply system,is the main content of this paper.Based on the summary of the boundary conditions of water hammer calculation,I deduced the boundary condition of the normal operation of the water pump,the heating cycle pump,the closed heating pipe system,the fixed pressure point in the heating pipe,the energy dissipation element in the pipeline,the safety valve and the bypass pipe at the pump.And I perfect the model library of the water hammer simulation software based on the Microsoft Visual C++ platform to make this software can be applied to a wider range of projects.Based on the theoretical analysis of water hammer,cut-off and closing water hammer experiment was carried out by controlling the time of closing the valve,so that the change of pipeline flow rate and the pressure at five pressure points could be recorded.The experimental data will further guide the theoretical study of water hammer.I have used the self-compiled software and three foreign software to simulate this experiment,and compared the difference between simulation results and experimental data.In the normal operation,the outlet pressure of the pump is 27mH2 O in this experiment,and the maximum pressure reaches 86.99 mH2 O when cut-off and closing water hammer occurs,accompanied by severe vibration of the pipeline.Software simulation of cut-off and closing water hammer matches the experiment.
