Carbon fiber reinforced composites(CFRP)is a new composite materials with good mechanical properties,including light weight,high tensile strength,corrosion resistance,anti fatigue,easy construction and fast construction speed,so CFRP applied to reinforced concrete frame structure more and more widely.In recent decades,Under many kinds of accidental loads,many structures have been damaged or even collapsed.Impact resistance of structures subjected to accidental impact loads is a problem that must be considered in the design of structural engineers.CFRP as an important reinforcement material,It's impact resistance is directly related to the ability of the structure to resist impact load.At present,the understanding of the dynamic response and the impact resistance of the composite structure under impact load is still in the process of exploration.The main content of this paper is the finite element simulation of the impact process of the CFRP jackets beam reinforcement column,the failure process and failure mechanism of CFRP jackets beam subjected to lateral impact load are obtained,and the influence of the additional surface layer on the impact resistance is investigated.And the influence of different parameters on impact resistance is also analyzed.In this paper,the finite element model of CFRP jackets strengthened column that with or without outer layer and different impact velocity and different thickness is established by explicit finite element dynamic analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA,the dynamic simulation of the reinforced column subjected to lateral impact is carried out.The equivalent stress nephogram and energy curve parameters of the carbon fiber and Outer layer material in the impact process are obtained.The results show that the outer layer can effectively reduce the impact damage of the CFRP jackets beam,and improve the impact resistance of the structure.
