Vibratory rollers can better adapt different working condition of compaction and are widely used in road construction.The compaction quality of crushed materials to vibratory rollers mainly depends on its vibrating steel wheel.As the key components of vibrating steel wheel,excitation mechanism determines the key parameters of vibratory rollers,vibration amplitude and frequency.The study on excitation mechanism of vibratory rollers not only can improve the vibratory roller's compaction quality of crushed materials,but also has guiding significance for the production of intelligent rollers in the future.This article focuses on the subject of vibratory roller and studies its institutions of the new excitation mechanism and hydraulic driving system.(1)Through comparing excitation mechanisms of domestic and foreign vibratory rollers,the structural design of the stepless frequency modulation and amplitude modulation mechanism of the vibratory roller is carried out,and the new type of excitation mechanism is modeled by three-dimensional software.The innovation of new excitation mechanism is mainly shown up on its amplitude modulation device,which use gear transmission to realize amplitude modulation.By setting the transmission ratio as 4:1,the amplitude of the error is able to be reduced which make the vibratory roller amplitude adjustment more accurate.(2)The device of stepless frequency and amplitude modulation has a compact structure and is installed with high accuracy.In order to ensure the parts to meet the required working life,the finite element static analysis and modal analysis of the key parts and vulnerable parts are carried out.Through the static analysis,the strength of the transmission part of the excitation mechanism meets the design requirements.Through the modal analysis,it is concluded that the vibration frequency of the excitation mechanism is different from the natural frequency of the part and resonance does not occur during working process.(3)According to the working principle of new type of excitation mechanism,the hydraulic driving system is designed.The type selection calculation and checking are done for the components of the hydraulic driving system.(4)The simulation model of stepless frequency regulation hydraulic system and stepless amplitude modulation system is established by using AMESim software,and the simulation results are analyzed and studied.Finally the feasibility of this design and the response time and motion precision of the hydraulic system are tested,meeting the working requirement.
