With the increase of the urban population and the rapid expansion of the road,the number and size of the parking spaces are reduced.Therefore,the study of automatic parking can reduce the operator's operation difficulty,reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents,reduce the parking time and improve the comfort of the vehicle.Automatic parking system is a kind of automobile electronic system which can make the car parking spaces without human control,first,the vehicle sensor is perceived in order to determine the appropriate parking space,and the distance between the vehicle and the surrounding obstacles is accurately measured,and then through the design of the control strategy before the control strategy to control the steering system and the drive system to complete the whole process of parking.At first,this paper analyzes the principle of ultrasonic distance measurement,and detection method for vertical parking and parallel parking spaces,and further according to the analysis of the process of parking,planning of automatic parking system in vertical parking and parallel parking parking path.In this paper,a Freescale intelligent vehicle is used to simulate the automatic parking system,according to the requirements of the automatic parking system are established on the basis of the data acquisition module,CAN bus module,data display,steering module and driving module,the hardware and software of the system,and the Freescale single chip microcomputer to realize the control of each module,the ultimate realization of vehicle automatic parking process.In this paper,the different sizes of different parking spaces and different starting points of the vertical and parallel parking spaces are verified.The results show that the ultrasonic detection system can effectively detect the position of the parking space,and the controller can effectively control the process of the automatic parking of the steering system and the drive system.
