With the growth of large span bridge constructed,cable-stayed bridge has been widely used.Cable-stayed bridge has gradually become the hub of transportation,but its history is short,its seismic response and damping research is not very mature.And the cable-stayed bridge is different from other forms of bridge,once it is damaged in the earthquake,it will not only cause huge economic losses but also cause great danger to the people's life safety.Therefore,the study of its earthquake response and how to damp the response has a very important significance.In this paper,a cable-stayed bridge is used as the engineering background,and establishing the finite element model.Make a consistently study in the response of earthquake and damping.The main contents include the following aspects:(1)Summarizing the research background and the development and current situation of cable-stayed bridge,and introducing the characteristics and damage of cable-stayed bridge in the earthquake.(2)The seismic theory,analysis method,the choice of ground motion and the input mode and the theory of isolation and its application are introduced.(3)A cable-stayed bridge model was established by finite element software ANSYS,and make a detailed introduction for the simulation method of main girder,main tower,cable,viscous dampers and Lead rubber bearing.(4)The dynamic time history analysis of the cable-stayed bridge model is carried out,and the structural response under different excitation combinations is analyzed and compared.It is concluded that the cable-stayed bridge is a kind of relatively strong Structure,any one direction of the seismic wave excitation will structure the three directions of the movement to bring the impact.Therefore,in the cable-stayed bridge seismic analysis,consider the combination of three different directions of seismic excitation.(5)The response of three different seismic wave excitation to the cable-stayed bridge model is determined to determine the seismic excitation when the seismic wave of the cablestayed bridge has the most adverse response.(6)Seismic response analysis of three different damping measures,namely viscous dampers,lead rubber bearings and viscous dampers + lead rubber bearings,of cable-stayed bridge.And the damping coefficient of the lead core of the lead rubber bearing and the damping coefficient of the viscous damper are optimized.Finally,the seismic response of the structures under three kinds of damping measures is analyzed and compared to determine the best cushioning scheme.(7)Finally,the content of this paper is summarized,and the shortcomings and further research directions are expounded.
