Along with the further deepening of reform and opening up, China’s economic has obtained the considerable development, the infrastructure construction carry out rapidly. Our country need to establish a modern transport network extending in all directions, because it is not only being an obvious role in promoting our country’s economic construction, but also in promoting the cultural communication between different nationalities, different regions,it also plays an important role in consolidating national defense.The bridge is the throat of traffic engineering.As a structures attached to the Earth’s surface, bridge suffer a great destruction from the earthquake. Our country is an prone earthquake country, earthquakes will bring serious loss to China’s economy every year. Cable stayed bridge is a kind of building which has strong spanning capacity, it can play its superior seismic performance in the earthquake process, which is not only the need to ensure the huge economic loss does not occur, it is necessary to ensure the smooth flow of lifeline earthquake rescue process.In this thesis, it takes the Sichuan Luzhou Huang Yi bridge as the project background, analyze the events that the Higher-lower tower cable-stayed bridge seismic response. Focusing on this problem, the main works of this paper are as follows:1. The thesis do a general analysis for seismic analysis methods such as elastic static analysis method, response spectrum method, dynamic time history analysis method, the power spectrum method and summarize the characteristics of these methods;2. This thesis uses the bridge software MIDAS/Civil for finite element simulation of Huang Yi bridge and analysis the dynamic characteristics of this kind of bridge;3. Through the different earthquake input mode and spatial combination, the thesis use the response spectrum method for seismic response analysis of bridge of Huang Yi;4. The thesis adopts dynamic time history method analysis for seismic response of Sichuan Luzhou Huang Yi bridge model of floating system, semi floating system and steel structure system respectively. The author compares the differences between them and explores the impact of different earthquake excitation response of structure earthquake, finally some useful conclusions are obtained;5. The thesis analyze influence of viscous damping under different parameter settings on the seismic performance of bridges;6. Integrating response spectrum and dynamic history analysis results, the different architecture of Higher-lower tower cable-stayed bridge under seismic response characteristics are summarized.
