Worm drive is a kind of widely used transmission mechanism,which has the characteristics of large transmission ratio,stable transmission,low impact load and self-locking under certain conditions.The traditional design of worm transmission is under certain assumption by using Hertz contact theory,can not reflect the actual working state of worm drive real,just for the model was simplified,no theoretical basis.With the development of CAD/CAM/CAE software,can be on the basis of the software for worm gear parametric design.The finite element method to constantly improve the bearing capacity of worm gear than the traditional method also has great practical significance.This paper takes a shot peening workshop worm driving device side as the research object,using Pro/E software development tool Pro/Program to complete the two parameters on the worm gear 3D modeling,finite element analysis of the worm and the worm gear in the ANSYS Workbench environment.The main work is as follows:1.According to the mathematical model of ZA worm,worm gear tooth surface equation is carried out,and based on the original mathematical model according to the modeling of the worm gear teeth on the tooth surface on both sides of mathematical expressions are derived,as a theoretical basis for establishing the model of ZA worm drive.2.According to the application of the actual worm drive,combined with the design theory of the worm reducer and the theory of strength checking,the basic dimensions of the worm and worm gear are calculated.3.On the Pro/E platform,using the Pro/E two development tool Pro/Program to achieve the three-dimensional model of the worm drive,the preparation process to achieve the parametric modeling of Archimedes worm.4.Combined with static analysis theory and modal analysis theory,in the ANSYS Workbench environment,the ZA worm and the worm gear is simplified,retaining ring gear,save calculation time and improve the operation efficiency,the equivalent stress analysis of the two,the total displacement deformation,vibration and modal.
