As an emergency and auxiliary electricity power,aviation battery supply power to the key electrical equipment on aircraft in case of the main power supply failure.Aviation batteries need to be connected in series to meet the demand of DC voltage 28 V and power.While the inconsistency between the single cells of the battery series can reduce battery performance and service life,even lead to security incidents.Therefore,it is of great scientific significance and application demand to do research about the energy equalization and health management technology of aviation battery.Taking equalization technology of aviation battery as the research subject,the main contributions of this dissertation include:(1)An +28V energy equalization system structure of aviation battery pack is proposed.It adopts the hierarchical modular structure with two layers: the main control module and the slave control module.24 nickel cadmium battery monomer series can be managed by this structure.The main control module uses bidirectional Buck-Boost equalized topology,and the control module uses the proposed centralized energy equalized topology of bi-directional Cúk converter.(2)The energy equalization control strategy of aviation battery is studied.Equilibrium control strategy for top and bottom is designed based on the specific operation of the battery pack and the structure of energy equalization system.Equilibrium system simulation model is built,the equalization of the battery pack is studied under the circumstance of the terminal voltage of each single cell is inconsistent.Meanwhile,the feasibility and effectiveness of the equalized scheme is verified.(3)Aviation battery equalization management system is developed.The hardware includes the MUC control circuit,equalization circuit,signal acquisition circuit and communication circuit.The software includes the basic function and the equalization control program.The experimental platform for equalizing charge and discharge of aviation battery is built.Basing on the platform,the functional and performance testing of energy equalization management system are completed.The results show that the consistency of the batteries is improved,and the overall capacity utilization of the battery pack is increased.
