As an important electrical equipment,high voltage circuit breakers(HVCB)play an important role in the power system.With the continuous development of the smart grid and the increasing power consumption load,the safety and stability requirements of the power system will be improved.High-voltage circuit breakers,as an important part of maintaining the safety and stability of the power system and the safety of the user's electricity.the accuracy of whose action directly determines whether the users can receive safe high-quality power.Requirements of monitoring technology for HVCB will inevitably be more accurate and intelligent.Therefore,it is of great practical significance for safe and stable operation of the whole power system to study the real time monitor and early warning system of HVCB.This paper analyzes the operation principle of HVCB and the monitoring quantities.A complete system is proposed,including the real time monitoring of HVCB and the early warning of abnormal status of HVCB through the analysis of monitoring quantities to estimate the operation status of HVCB.The proposed system tracks the working status of HVCB through the on-line monitoring device,records the behavior data of each circuit breaker and uploads it to the host computer for analysis.Through calculation,the actual state of HVCB is obtained.After comparing with normal operation data,whether the working status of circuit breaker is normal will be informed to the background server or duty staff to complete the failure warning.In the proposed system,the online monitoring device is designed with the overall structure integration and functional partition modularization,supporting variety ways of signal transmission.High-speed Ethernet communication used in the proposed system can make data more efficient to the background server.In the fault diagnosis system,RBM + BP network classification algorithm is used.Because of the initial weight selection,it is easy for BP network to converge to the local minimum.But this problem can be solved due to the excellent weight pre-processing capacity of RBM network.Thus the accuracy of fault diagnosis is improved.The system has the functions of real-time monitoring,data acquisition and processing,field data display,data fast analysis,fault pre-diagnosis and unified management of background data.The system can quickly determine the operation of the circuit breaker,which is of considerable practicality.At the same time the on-line monitoring device in the proposed system has successfully passed a rigorous type test,meaning that the reliability and security of the hardware has been verified.The proposed system fulfill the goal of a more reliable and safe smart grid,so as to meet the continuous improvement of customer power quality requirements,and to keep the power market and asset optimized and efficient operation.
