This topic is the development of the cylinder head processing technology of the MAN L27/38 diesel engine and the optimization of the process in order to meet the production requirements.The cylinder head is an important part of diesel engine,this paper introduces the function of diesel engine cylinder head,pointed out the typical characteristics of machining the cylinder head of diesel engine,and designed according to the current trend of development of NC machining technology of L27/38 cylinder cover up the basic principle.The machining process of cylinder head is analyzed under the guidance of the basic principles.Based on the analysis of the equipment and production status of the factory,the establishment of L27/38 series diesel engine cylinder head production line is studied in this paper.And the compilation of numerical control programs used in the process of processing is standardized.After sufficient theory analysis,according to the Weichai Heavy Mechanical machine factory workshop of existing equipment,the processing scheme of L27/38 cylinder concrete cover,the use of tools and fixtures for the selection and design.This paper also provides a standard for the compilation of numerical control programs,which lays a good foundation for the development of new products in the future.This paper solves a series of problems in the process of L27/38 cylinder head first try cutting encountered,and in this paper the relatively important issues were discussed:crossed support question on the milling plane,plane milling vibration problem flash problems,injector hole collapse problem,milling around the face rotation tooling problems,slender gun drill into the hole drilling,the difficult problem of cold iron chipping,exhaust valve seat finishing,milling knife bolt plane problems,tooling and workpiece interference problems,rocker shaft hole angle measurement and hoisting method improvement,milling cutter on the plane,improved after the completion of catheter rust problem of the seat,boring cut iron enters the water cavity,it is difficult to head into the problem of catheter.In this paper after the first specimen cutting,difficulty of small batch style production process of L27/38 cylinder cover are analyzed:the valve seat hole jumping overproof problem,rocker shaft hole coaxiality deviation,injector hole coaxiality deviation,shrink hole,after installing the catheter catheter after installation hole straight problem.On the basis of small batch production,we optimize the L27/38 cylinder head by optimizing the cutting parameters,optimizing thevertical lathe process and optimizing the horizontal machining center.Finally,it reached 150 per year design capacity.
