The cable-supported structure,a large-span prestressed structure,is popular in recent years,which performance of stress is more reasonable compared with the traditional rigid-beam structure and reticulated-shell structure.Research on various types of cable-supported structures become already mature at present,and there are substantial engineering constructions made by cable-supported structures,where the one-way cable-supported structure is used most widely.Nevertheless,massive connecting components and longitudinal supports are necessary to maintain the lateral stability of the cable-supported structure due to the essential defects,such as weak integrity and lateral stiffness.In order to improve the lateral stiffness and stability of cable-supported structures and reduce the number of longitudinal support systems,a new type of cable-supported structure is proposed combined with the advantages of X-style arch Bridge and Leaning-type arch bridge.At present,there are few researches and literatures on the out-of-plane instability of cable-supported structures at home and abroad.For the sake of studying the static and stability performance of the new structure and enriching the research experience of such problems,researched on the combined 3D arch-string structure are carried out in the following aspects this paper:The arch-string structure is chosen as the research object,and model of the combined 3D arch-string structure model is built.The static performance of the structure under four different working conditions was analyzed utilizing ANSYS software,and the maximum lateral and vertical displacements of the structure,the horizontal displacement of sliding support,the maximum stress and stress distribution of members are obtained.By adjusting rise-span ratio,the arch-beam angle and the cable prestress,the influence of each parameter on the static performance of the structure is obtained,and the reasonable value of the corresponding parameter is given.The elastic stability of single frame of combined 3D arch-string structure is studied,furthermore,the buckling modes and ultimate bearing capacity of combined 3D arch-string structure and the traditional arch-string structure are compared under the full-span and half-span uniform load.In addition,the influence of rise-span ratio,the arch-beam angle,the arch section form,the strut number,the foot condition,the initial defect and the non-linearity of the material on the stability of the combined 3D arch-string structure are analyzed,and the reasonable range of each parameter is obtained.The overall model of the combined 3D arch-string structure was established,and the influence of the position and the quantity of longitudinal support on the stability of the overall structure was studied.The stiffness of the spring support corresponding to the simplified calculation model was calculated.Finally,the stability of the overall model and the traditional arch-string structure were compered.
