The large-scale exploitation and utilization of fossil energy has driven the accelerated development of human civilization.However,with the gradual depletion of fossil energy and the increasing environmental pollution caused by fossil energy,human beings need to find a replaceable clean energy.So the green and pollution-free solar energy has gradually came into human vision.Especially in the aviation industry that discharge a lot of pollutants,the emergence of solar powered aircraft has provided a new direction for the development of aviation industry.Compared with other aircraft,solar powered aircraft have characteristics of long flight time,high span-chord ratio and high flight altitude.In order to ensure the long and stable flight of the solar powered aircraft,it is necessary to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the energy installations.Based on the aerodynamic characteristics and working environment of a solar powered aircraft,this paper analyzes and researches a solar powered UAV energy installations,the purpose is improving the reliability and durability of the solar powered UVA energy installations.In this paper,the initial is a brief introduction to the energy system of solar powered aircraft.The next is a detailed introduction of energy installations,and build the theoretical model of energy installations.Then this paper analyzes and models the illumination intensity,atmospheric density,atmospheric pressure,the position of the sun and other related parameters in the flight environment of solar powered aircraft.In the meantime,a flexible packaging method of solar cell which is suitable for a solar powered UAV is studied,and the comparison experiment before and after the flexible package is completed.Finally,the simulation results of Matlab / Simulink are analyzed,the main factors which affect the flight parameters of the solar powered aircraft is found.The methods of calculating the energy and the methods to improve the flight time of the solar powered aircraft are obtained.
