Solar Powered unmanned aerial vehicle(Solar Powered UAV),which is powered by clean energy,is favored by many countries.It has a long time to stay in the air and a wide range of flight.It can replace satellites and conventional aircraft to complete a variety of aerial tasks,and has a very broad application prospects.Energy system is the core component of the solar UAV,which provides energy for the power system and electronic equipment of the UAV during the whole flight process.This paper focuses on the key technologies of energy system,aiming at providing theoretical basis and practical guidance for energy acquisition,key parameter design and energy management strategy design of energy system,and then improving the performance of energy system,which is of great engineering significance.The research contents include:(1)Based on the solar cell simulation model,the output characteristics of solar cells in different environments are studied.According to the four kinds of solar cell arrays,the power output levels of solar cell arrays under different topological structures are studied under typical flight conditions.Through the above research,the method of obtaining more energy for energy system is put forward.(2)The principle of common MPPT control algorithms is studied and one of them is improved.On the test platform of algorithm based on Boost circuit,the performance of the improved algorithm is compared with that of other fixed-step algorithms in steady-state environment.The test results show that the MPP tracking performance of the proposed algorithm is better.It can reduce the energy loss caused by the oscillation of output power of solar array and increase the energy supply of energy system.(3)The energy matching principle of energy storage schemes for solar UAV energy system is emphatically studied.For battery energy storage schemes and joint energy storage schemes,the energy balance strategy of the two schemes based on cruise state is modeled respectively,which lays a foundation for the design and analysis of the key parameters of the energy system.(4)According to two energy storage schemes and the power matching relationship of solar UAV cruise state,the design steps of key parameters of energy system are modeled.Based on the above-mentioned key parameters solution model,an energy system aided design software is developed on Visual Studio 2012 platform,and the software functions are tested.Then,the factors that affecting the design of key parameters of energy system are analyzed emphatically by using the software.According to the analysis results,the ways to optimize the key parameters of energy system is put forward.Finally,according to the solar illumination model built,the changes of solar illumination intensity in different flight airspace are analyzed.Combining with the contents of previous chapters,the design process of energy management strategy of energy system is preliminarily studied,and the application analysis is carried out based on an example,which establishes the basis for the detailed design of energy management strategy of energy system in the later stage.
