There are many kinds of expansive soils in the improved method.The gravel modified expansive soil is one of the non-modified ones,which is widely used in engineering,has good effect on the expansion of expansive soil,and has little effect on the environment.The particle size of the gravel,the amount of gravel mixed,and the moisture content of the expansive soil have no significant effect on the expansibility of the modified expansive soil.Because of the difficulty of using the commonly used consolidation instrument and small ring knife for the expansion test of gravel,this paper uses self-made large ring knife and large-scale linkage device simulation consolidation instrument,for different particle size of gravel,different gravel content and The effect of different moisture content on the expansive soil expansibility was investigated by laboratory modelIn order to obtain the influence of different grain size gravel,different gravel blending amount and different water content on the expansive soil expansive soil,the basic physical and mechanical parameters of the soil samples with different points were measured respectively.Then,through the consolidation and self-The experiment was carried out to test the swelling force and expansion rate of the samples under different variables,and the partial results were verified by the particle flow software PFC3D.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Through the laboratory test,the basic physical and mechanical tests,the compaction test and the swelling rate test were carried out on the soil samples taken from Sanxiang and Baise East,Nanning,and the basic physical and mechanical properties of soil samples were obtained.(2)Study on improving expansion of weathering sand in soil of Baise East by using continuous consolidation.The swelling rate and swelling force of the expansive soil samples under different weathering sand blends were tested,and the results were compared and analyzed,and the optimum weathering sand blending was obtained under the conventional test conditions.(3)Study on the Expansive Properties of Soil Specimens at Different Initial Moisture Content in Nanning San Tong by Conventional Consolidation Instrument.The initial initial moisture content under the conventional test conditions was obtained by comparing the expansion rate and swelling force of expansive soils with different initial moisture content and comparing the results.(4)Through the design,complete self-made large consolidation instrument.The immobilization of different soil samples with different initial water content and blending of different gravels was carried out by using the self-made large-scale consolidation instrument.Study on the expansibility of soil samples with different weathering sand in Baise East by using self-made large-scale consolidation instrument.Through the above tests,the best gravel blending amount and the optimum initial water content were obtained from the soil samples ofNanning Santang.The optimum weathering sand content from Baise East soil sanples was obtained.Through the above test results,the effect of improved material size on expansive soil expansibility was analyzed.The results show that the influence of the size of the modified material,the initial water content,the amount of gravel,and the amount of weathered sand on the expansive expansive soil.(5)Through the particle flow software PFC3D,the expansive force was simulated under different spikes of the soil samples of Santang in Nanning.The simulation results and the test results are discussed.
