Nowadays,information technology has penetrated into every aspect of the industry,making the intelligent substation become the future development direction and the upgrading trend of the traditional substation.The vacuum state of the vacuum circuit breakers(CBS)is a crucial index that directly determines the electrical performance of the VCB.Because of the commonly used off-line detection method of vacuum degree,the service life of the vacuum circuit breaker cannot be accurately judged and estimated.A set of on-line monitoring system for vacuum circuit breaker that can be used to monitor the vacuum degree of vacuum circuit breaker and can be applied to IEC61850 standard needs to be invented.Thus,in this paper,a set of on-line vacuum degree monitoring devices is designed.First,the commonly used vacuum degree detection methods in home and abroad are summarized so as to find the features of the target signal that the devices in this paper are made to detect according to the theories of some existing vacuum degree on-line monitoring methods.Secondly,the hardware architecture of the industrial monitoring system commonly used are analyzed and compared,after which,with the real-time and stability principle,the hardware frame of embedded monitoring system of this paper is determined:the lower computer is based on a dual-core architecture using both FPGA and ARM,and the host computer is based on the IPC using a touch screen to display the data.The Ethernet interface is used for communication between two computers.Considering the cost and requirements of the on-line monitoring system,the main chips are selected:using AT91RM9200 as the ARM processor and using EP2C20F256C8N as the FPGA chip.Finally,after completing the hardware and software design,the monitoring function of the on-line vacuum degree monitoring system is achieved.The on-line monitoring system for vacuum can be used to collect data,send data in fixed format,and display the real time monitoring signal.The external interface of the system is rich,extensible and reusable,and can modify the function according to the actual demand,which will lay a solid foundation for the application of the system in the intelligent substation in the future.
